I love your blog! I found it when searching for volunteer opportunities in AZ (heading there for vacation in a couple months). I share a similar passion for service and travel and admire your courage to make them a priority in your life. I’m focused on getting my kiddos involved at a young age. Thank you for making Richmond your first stop. I was married at Pocahontas State Park and have called Richmond home for almost 14 years. Good luck, have fun, and be safe
It would probably be easiest to volunteer in Phoenix since they have a volunteer center: http://handsonphoenix.org/ with a managed project calendar. Unfortunately last time I checked there aren’t any volunteer centers in northern Arizona. If you end up in Flagstaff and want to volunteer there let me know because we have a lot of contacts in Flagstaff.
Thank you for visiting Service Driven. This blog chronicles the adventures of Jay and Sharon as they travel the U.S. & Canada, volunteering along the way.
Love the pictures!
We have been there before camping, cute little park. Glad you all got to get out and enjoy nature!

What great coincidences! Where in Arizona will you be?
We’re spending a couple days in each: Phoenix, GC, Lake Powell/Monument Valley, Sedona. I’ve never been to AZ and am really looking forward to it.
